NO, I am very sad to say that this is a disease that does not get better and will never go away. It will be with me for my whole life. When you get a cold, you can take medicine and it will get better. When you have strep throat, you can take an antibiotic and it will go away, and you will be back to normal in a few weeks. Diabetes stays with me for my entire life. Scientists and doctors are looking for a cure and learning lots of new things. But for now, we can just wait. Perhaps some day there will be a cure!! |
